Today, the regional governor Nurlybek Nalibayev got acquainted with the work of a new school in the Akshatau settlement during a working trip to the Aral district.
Until the new facility for 60 places opened in September, students studied in a building adapted for a primary school. Now, after completing primary school, village children will continue their studies at home, with their parents, without going to the district center. The educational institution is equipped with sports halls, assembly halls, a canteen, a library and separate subject rooms.
It should be noted that within the framework of the "Cozy School" national project, implemented at the initiative of the Head of State, the construction of 10 schools has begun in the region, and the first 900-seat school was opened in the regional center in October last year.
Since the beginning of the year, schools with 300 seats have been put into operation in the "Zhanaryk" village of the Zhanakorgan district, in the Aral city, and in the "Sayazhai" microdistrict of the Zhanakorgan settlement, in the city of Kyzylorda with 600 seats. It is expected that the construction of 5 more "Cozy Schools" will be completed during the year.
Last year, 6 schools and additional buildings for 5 schools were handed over to the benefit of the country in our region. Thus, the problem of emergency schools No. 248 in the village of Tokabay, No. 252 in the village of Shieli, and No. 133 in the village of Zhanseit, Aral district, was solved.
With the sponsorship of the "KazHermunai" company, a "Students' Palace" was launched in Kyzylorda city, a "Students' House" for 200 places and a "School of Arts" for 50 places in Zhanakorgan district were opened. During the year, a "Students' House" and "School of Arts" will also start operating in Shieli district.
The "Academy of Creativity" and a new building of a music college in the regional center will be completed in May, and a physics and mathematics boarding school for gifted children will be completed in March.
This year, a 150-seat school will be built in the village of "Zhalanash" in the Aral district at the expense of the "Educational Infrastructure Support Fund". Last year, 8 school buildings were overhauled for 3 billion 100 million tenge.
It is known that the head of state has instructed to modernize 1,300 schools in the future. At the same time, 51 schools in the region will undergo overhaul within 3 years, 9 of which will be overhauled this year.
