In Kazakhstan, it is planned to implement R&D projects based on the country's leading universities. At the Digital Almaty 2025 forum, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Committee for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Innovations, Agibot and such major technical universities as Satbayev University, International University of Information Technologies (MUT), Kazakhstan-British Technical University (KBTU), Astana IT University and others.
Based on the agreements, universities will have equal opportunities to use advanced technologies in the field of robotics. Agibot will develop humanoid robots and implement solutions based on artificial intelligence in them. This approach opens up new opportunities for scientific research and educational initiatives.
The agreement opens up opportunities for Kazakhstani students to implement joint R&D projects that will allow them to build robots and integrate artificial intelligence solutions. The universities plan to develop and implement R&D projects in coordination with Agibot and the Ministry, opening up new opportunities for domestic science and technology.
According to the memorandums, Agibot plans to open its R&D center at the Alem.AI center. It was this international center that was presented by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiev at the Digital Almaty 2025 forum as the main platform for research and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions.
Alem.AI will be a key place for artificial intelligence research, startups and international cooperation. The center is expected to increase the export of Kazakhstani artificial intelligence solutions to $ 5 billion by 2029, launching a new wave of technological and economic growth. One floor of the center will be dedicated to R&D research laboratories, where scientists and developers can conduct scientific research and develop advanced artificial intelligence solutions. These labs will be a key location for supporting innovation and implementing research projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
