Short track
The Kazakhstani men's team won the country's first gold medal in the 5000-meter relay. The team consisted of Denis Nikisha, Adil Galiakhmetov, Mersaid Zhaksybayev, Aibek Nasen, Abzal Azhgaliev and Gleb Ivchenko.
In the women's 3000-meter team competition, the country's women's team won the silver medal. The team members are Yana Khan, Olga Tikhonova, Malika Ermek, Zeynep Kumarkhan, Alina Azhgalieva and Madina Zhanbosynova.
Also, in the women's 1000 meter race, Olga Tikhonova lost in the quarterfinals, Alina Azhgalieva performed in the B final, and Malika Ermek performed in the A final.
In the men's competition, Aibek Nasen was eliminated in the quarterfinals, while Adil Galiakhmetov and Gleb Ivchenko competed in the B final.
Speed ​​skating
The Kazakhstan women's team won the bronze medal of the Winter Asian Games in the team sprint. Team members are Kristina Silaeva, Darya Vazhenina, Nadezhda Morozova.
In the 500 meter race, Kristina Silaeva took 8th place, Inessa Shumekova took 14th, Darya Vazhenina took 15th, and Margarita Galiyeva took 17th place.
In the men's 5000 meter race, Vadim Yakubovsky took 9th, Bakdaulet Sagatov took 12th, and Vitaly Shchigolev took 13th place.

Ayana Zholdas won the bronze medal in the final of the Asian Winter Games, scoring 76.54 points. Ardana Mahanova did not make it to the final.

The Kazakhstan women's team lost to Japanese athletes (4:10), while the men's team defeated the Taipei team with a clear advantage - 10:5.

In the men's competition, Timur Artyukhin and Chingiz Baykashev did not qualify, while Niyaz Zhanuzakov and Denis Vlasov stumbled in the semifinals. In the women's race, Asem Nazirova failed to reach the final.

In the women's 5 km race, Nadezhda Stepashkina finished 5th, Ksenia Shalygina 7th, Angelina Shuryga 8th, and Daria Ryazhko 9th.
