Today, the head of the region paid a working trip to the Altai district and visited areas at risk of flooding. These include the Turgysyn and Bukhtarma rivers. Monitoring is already being carried out here every day. Due to heavy snowfall this winter, this region is under the supervision of the emergency services. Therefore, the Altai, Katonkaragay, Kurchum and Glubokoe districts are under constant supervision of the Emergency Situations Headquarters, which began operating on February 1.
The Altai district akimat has been given a number of tasks related to the period of flood risk. In particular, it is necessary to prepare all forces and means, monitor the state of rivers and the level of water in the snow. In addition, it is necessary to work with the population. The regional akimat also visited the Osinov Pass, which is considered one of the avalanche-prone areas in the region.
During the visit, Yermek Kosherbayev visited a special boarding school for children with deviant behavior in the city of Serebryansk. At the same time, a constructive dialogue was held with the management of the institution and representatives of the district education department.
The regional akimat instructed to check the food standards in the canteen and increase them. He instructed the district akimat and the regional education department to strictly control this issue. In turn, the students talked with the regional head and shared their future plans. Many of them want to continue their education and enter college. Yermek Kosherbayev instructed to familiarize children with the educational process in technical and vocational education organizations as part of the vocational guidance work.
The students asked for the opportunity to participate in hockey matches. Also, during the visit, the head of the region visited a military unit and talked with the personnel.
