The building of the former Educational and Clinical Center, located at the intersection of Abai Avenue and Masanshi Street in Almaty, will be renovated into a city children's rehabilitation center. During a meeting with residents of the Almaly district, Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dossayev announced that the project revision was completed today.
The initial project developed by Zhetysu Architecture Construction LLP did not pass the examination, so the start date of the work has been changed. Today, a new project has been developed. After the project passes the state examination, a competition will be held to determine the contracting organization, and then construction and installation work will begin directly,” the mayor of the metropolis noted.
The center, designed for 250 visitors per shift, is intended for the comprehensive rehabilitation of children under 18 years of age with musculoskeletal diseases, cerebral palsy, speech pathology, as well as mental retardation.
Since the facility is an architectural monument, the project involves restoring the original appearance of the facade using modern materials.
