"Classes are held 3 times a week, 2 hours each. The training is conducted by theater artists and leaders of the Kazakh Society of the Blind and Deaf. Currently, about 200 people are studying in our studios and clubs. In addition, with the support of the Department of Culture of the Almaty Akimat, we have held more than 130 events. Among them are international festivals and competitions for people with special needs, charity concerts, lectures and meetings with cultural figures. We strive to create an inclusive environment, where art becomes a real means of communication between people. Our artists are a clear proof of the strength of spirit and unlimited possibilities. Today, we have participants who have become winners of international competitions held in Italy, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Malaysia. Our artists participated in these projects with the support of the akimat,” said Maksat Nuraliev.
It should be noted that the Alatau Traditional Art Theater has a department called “Organization of cultural recreation for people with visual and hearing impairments.” It is staffed by blind and deaf people.

During a meeting with residents of the Almaly district, Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dossayev spoke about the ongoing work on traffic regulation on the roads.
"Work is being actively carried out in the city to improve road safety and manage traffic. Today, these functions are assigned to the Police Department, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs approved the transfer of part of the traffic management functions to the city akimat. Therefore, we plan to create an unprecedented Traffic Management Center in the city. Now we are preparing to implement this large-scale project," said Yerbolat Dossayev.
The mayor of the megalopolis noted that the modernization of traffic light facilities will continue this year. Today, 93 of the 591 existing traffic light facilities have been supplemented with European electronic equipment, which made it possible to introduce an adaptive traffic light control system.
This year, it is planned to continue the modernization of the remaining 498 traffic light facilities. After the work is completed, traffic regulation at intersections will be ensured in real time, taking into account the actual traffic intensity on the routes. It will also include calculating traffic statistics, operating the countdown board in adaptive mode, and prioritizing specialized vehicles.
