The medical record required for employment has become available on the HR Enbek labor resource portal in the “Employee's Personal File” service. The document is available for citizens in the “Personal Medical Records” section, as well as for employers upon request, with the consent of employees.
From January 1, 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan has introduced an electronic format for personal medical records (sanitary records).
The electronic system covers 15 categories of employees, including public catering, pharmacy, sanatorium workers, as well as service sector workers and medical personnel. Regular physical examinations for these categories are carried out once a year or once every six months.
After that, an electronic version of the sanitary booklet was introduced into the HR Enbek portal, which should facilitate the employment of citizens who need to undergo regular medical examinations to work.
It should be noted that the consent of an individual to the processing of personal data for transfer to third parties is carried out by the personal data access control service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan by sending an SMS to the employee's number registered in the mobile citizens' database. This consent is also provided using the EDS on the HR Enbek portal or in the mobile application that can be downloaded via the AppStore and GooglePlay.
Employers with HR information systems are given the opportunity to connect to the free “Employee Personal Affairs” service via Smart Bridge.
Recall that the “Employee Personal Affairs” service was launched on the HR Enbek portal in 2022 and is aimed at simplifying the interview and employment processes by allowing the employer, with the employee's consent, to access personal data such as information from an identity card, education, work experience, photos, medical certificates, etc.
