The Kazakhstan team championship in target shooting, which lasted a week in Shymkent, has come to an end, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
This is the first major competition of the year for shooters. The athletes selected from this competition will defend the honor of the country at the upcoming Asian Cup and World Cup stages.
In the women's 10-meter air rifle shooting competition, the difference between the prize-winners was decided by a few points.
Gold prize – Shymkent;
Silver prize – Almaty;
Bronze medal – Astana team.
Aliya Aushamova, Amina Amantayeva, Darina Bolatova were among the best in the team. They scored a total of 1821.9 points.
Thus, the Astana team won 1 silver and 5 bronze medals and entered the top three of the championship.
It should be noted that about 160 athletes from 8 regions of the country participated in the competition.
