The capital's boxer Bakbergen Aliaskarov became the silver medalist of the international tournament, the official website of the Astana akimat reports.
The "Belgrade Winner" international boxing tournament, which took place in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, has come to an end. This year, the prestigious competition, organized for the 62nd time, featured boxing masters from Kyrgyzstan, Slovakia, Macedonia, Morocco, Serbia, Moldova and Kazakhstan.
Bakbergen Aliaskarov, who represented Astana in the 75 kg weight category, performed well and became the silver medalist of the tournament.
In general, Kazakhstani boxers showed high results in this competition, winning 8 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medals.
