A night raid was conducted on entertainment establishments in the Nura district of the capital to prevent hookah smoking in public places, the official website of the Astana akimat reports.
The preventive measure was organized by employees of the Nura district akimat together with the police department.
During the raid, three establishments were inspected and violations of the law on the distribution and use of tobacco products without appropriate permits were identified.
According to the results of the inspections, one of the facilities where violations were registered was fined 240,000 tenge.
The Nura district akimat and the internal affairs department are focused on ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The work to prevent such violations will continue.
The police also emphasized that such raids are carried out regularly, and control is intensified on weekends and holidays.
Law enforcement agencies call on citizens and entrepreneurs to comply with the requirements of the law and contribute to improving public safety.
