The international conference "Seed Day, Seed-2025" was held in Kokshetau. This event brought together agronomists, experts and researchers from Kazakhstan, Europe and the CIS.

The event was attended by the Deputy Akim of the Akmola region, Murat Balpan. He noted the importance of such platforms in the exchange of experience and knowledge.

The participants got acquainted with the exhibition of seeds of domestic and foreign selection of high-margin crops.

Quality seeds are the main factor in obtaining a bountiful harvest. Last year, farmers of the region achieved high results. This was due to strict adherence to agronomic technologies, an increase in the area of ​​elite seed sowing, and the effective implementation of state support programs.

Seed selection is of great importance. In this direction, the A.I. Baraev Scientific and Production Center for Grain Production is conducting constant research. One of the proofs of the work of the center's scientists is the "Taimas" spring soft wheat variety. Last year, it became a symbol of Kazakhstan's adaptation to climate challenges and innovations in the field of breeding.

During the conference, scientists and specialists discussed issues of improving seed quality, introducing modern breeding technologies, using innovative processing methods, and improving crop varieties in order to increase productivity.
In addition, information was presented on new varieties of promising agricultural crops developed by domestic and foreign breeders.

The Kokshetau International Conference "Seed Day, Seed-2025" was an important step towards the development of agricultural science and increasing the efficiency of agriculture.
