Thanks to state measures to promote employment in Zhambyl region, the number of jobs is increasing due to the development of entrepreneurship and training programs, and the provision of state grants.
In 2024, 42.4 billion tenge was allocated for the development of the social sphere, which is 1.2 times more than in 2023.
The task of fulfilling the task of the Head of State to create 100 jobs for 10 thousand residents was exceeded. More than 13.1 thousand jobs were created due to support for new entrepreneurial initiatives (the plan is 11 thousand).
The regional employment map allows you to plan the employment of citizens and identify the needs of the labor market. Within the framework of this map, more than 70.1 thousand jobs were created, including 51.3 thousand permanent jobs.
According to the results of the year, the plan for covering the population with active employment measures was also exceeded.
In 2024, 62.7 thousand Zhambyl residents (plan - 55.6 thousand) were covered by employment promotion measures. In particular, they were placed in permanent and subsidized jobs and received non-refundable grants.
As a result of the measures taken, the number of recipients of targeted social assistance in 2024 decreased by 10.8 thousand people compared to 2023.
In 2025, 65.6 thousand jobs are expected to be created in the region, including 48.2 thousand permanent jobs.
