This was announced at a government meeting by the Minister of Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov announced.
According to operational data from regional akimats, agricultural producers need 2.3 million tons of seeds for the 2025 harvest, and today this volume has been fully provided. As a result of the preliminary examination, the quality of 1.6 million tons of seeds was checked. The mass inspection of seeds will be completed by the end of March.
“Last year, for the first time, an advance subsidy mechanism was introduced for domestic fertilizer producers. This mechanism made fertilizers more accessible to farmers: as a result, the level of their introduction for the first time exceeded 40% of scientifically based needs, significantly higher than the indicator that did not exceed 21% in previous years,” said Aidarbek Saparov.
The fertilizer introduction plan for 2025 is 1.9 million tons, or 59% of scientifically based needs. Currently, fertilizer manufacturers and suppliers are working on concluding contracts and building up stocks in warehouses.
