At the government meeting, Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov noted that, according to operational information from akimats, the readiness of agricultural machinery is about 75%. By the beginning of spring sowing, this indicator will reach 100%.
In this regard, akimats of the regions were instructed to intensify equipment repair work and ensure the uninterrupted operation of machine-tractor workshops.
It was also noted that thanks to state support measures, farmers purchased 22 thousand modern equipment in 2024. At the end of the year, the level of renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet was 5.5%.
“This will directly affect labor productivity during the spring sowing and harvesting period. This year, we are faced with the task of bringing this indicator to 6.5%, which, of course, will contribute to increasing the efficiency of agricultural production," the minister said.
In general, the country's agricultural structures have 140 thousand tractors, about 5.5 thousand high-performance sowing complexes, 76.4 thousand seeders and 220 thousand soil tillage equipment. This amount of equipment will allow farmers to complete all work in the optimal time frame.
401 thousand tons of diesel fuel were allocated to the regions for spring sowing, which is 6.5% more than the level in 2024.
