Today, 23 families from socially vulnerable groups and large families in the Zhetysu region enjoyed the joy of new homes. Those on the waiting list were handed the keys to three-room houses in a new residential area of ​​the regional center, the regional akim's press service reports.
Among the new homeowners are large and single-parent families, families raising disabled children, disabled people of groups I and II, and pensioners.
According to the Taldykorgan city akimat, the construction of housing in the "Zhastar-3" microdistrict has been underway since July last year. Thus, 56 new houses have been built and purchased for those on the waiting list. In addition to the 23 houses whose keys were handed over today, 33 houses will be put into operation by the end of February. The total area of ​​​​each house is 76 square meters. There are three living rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. It is worth noting that by the end of this year, about 150 more houses will be put into operation in this residential area at the expense of private developers.
One of the new homeowners is Indira Imanbolova, a mother of many children:
- We have been on the waiting list for housing for more than 10 years. The cost of renting a house is not cheap for us, and moving often has its own difficulties. My children especially suffer. Now, we have found our own home, and we are so happy, - says I. Imanbolova, a mother of six children.
Meruert Abdykadyrova, who was on the housing waiting list, also found a new home. The mother of the owner of the house did not hide her joy:
- My daughter has been looking for a house for at least twelve and a half years. She has six children. Before that, she lived in a rented apartment. Now Meruert, her loved ones and we are all happy that she has a home, - says Kupan Abdykadyrova.
Let us recall that earlier, at the beginning of this year, 49 large families in Taldykorgan were given the keys to the houses in the "Bereke" cottage town.
In total, 1,283 families were provided with housing in Taldykorgan last year, reducing the waiting list by 8.3%, and this year another 1,483 families will receive housing. The construction of 28 houses with 1,041 apartments and 107 cottages will be completed, and 300 apartments will be purchased for socially vulnerable groups of the population. Thus, in 2023-2025, about 5,000 people on the waiting list will be provided with housing in the regional center.
