The capital's public library No. 1 held a quiz for schoolchildren "Clean Kazakhstan - ecologically created" as part of the campaign "Clean Kazakhstan. Astana - a model of cleanliness and order", the official website of the city administration reports.

During the event, librarians offered to choose topics from literature on ecology, environmental protection and sustainable development. Schoolchildren got acquainted with publications that reveal the current problems of environmental protection, ways to solve them, and the importance of environmental culture in the modern world. After looking through the book, students took part in a quiz to test their knowledge of Kazakhstan's environmental initiatives.

The interactive format of the work made the event not only informative, but also interesting.

The quiz contributed to the promotion of environmental knowledge among schoolchildren, the development of their conscious attitude to nature, and the formation of environmental responsibility. Public library No. 1 continues its work to improve environmental literacy and invites you to participate in upcoming events.

Recall that since the beginning of 2025, modern "Clean Kazakhstan" corners have appeared in many libraries of Astana. These corners contain books, magazines and information materials on environmental education, environmental protection and preservation of cultural sites. At the same time, lectures and master classes on ecology are held in libraries, joint Saturday cleaning, landscaping of adjacent territories, and garbage collection are organized. All events are aimed at improving the environmental literacy of city residents.
