This year, it is planned to increase the area sown with agricultural crops in the Zhetysu region to 510.7 thousand hectares. A regional operational headquarters for conducting spring field work is being created and is working. In preparation for the spring sowing, work is underway to prepare seeds, diesel fuel and equipment, - reports the press service of the Zhetysu region akim.

According to the regional agricultural department, according to the plan, 247 thousand hectares of land will be plowed in the spring, 127 thousand hectares of pastures will be covered with moisture, 137 thousand hectares of last year's perennial grasses and winter crops will be harrowed, and a total of 374 thousand hectares of summer crops will be sown. The necessary 52.1 thousand tons of seeds of summer agricultural crops have been fully prepared, of which 31.6 thousand tons are grain crops, 9.5 thousand tons are oilseeds, 0.6 thousand tons are fodder crops, and 10.4 thousand tons are potatoes.

To date, about 5 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers have been purchased. There are 1.3 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers in warehouses. This year, 2.7 billion roubles will be allocated for fertilizer subsidies. tenge has been allocated. 

"This year, the area sown with agricultural crops is planned to reach 510.7 thousand hectares. Of these, 295.3 thousand hectares will be sown with grain and leguminous crops, 89.7 thousand hectares with oilseeds, 6.8 thousand hectares with potatoes, 8.9 thousand hectares with vegetable crops, and 97.3 thousand hectares with fodder crops. And taking into account the production capacity of sugar factories, we will sow sugar beet on a total of 12.2 thousand hectares by 2025, which is 1.5 thousand hectares less than last year. In total, we plan to harvest 550.0 thousand tons of sugar beet from this area. "The seeds for the planned sugar beet sowing in the amount of 17.1 thousand sowing units will be provided by the Koksu Sugar Plant and the Zhetysu Social Entrepreneurship Corporation," the department's message says.

Currently, repairs are being carried out on agricultural machinery, and to date, 75% of the 20.6 thousand units of machinery participating in spring field work, including tractors, plows, seeders, cultivators, and harrows, have been repaired. It is planned that the repairs will be fully completed by March 15.

In this regard, 5.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel have been allocated for spring field work. Work is underway to identify the operator.

As part of preparations for the spring sowing, the "Agrarian Credit Corporation" has received applications from 104 farms for 3.0 billion tenge, and to date, 35 farms have been granted loans for 942 million tenge.

It should be noted that state services for subsidizing agro-industrial complex entities are carried out in 100 percent electronic format through the state information system for subsidies. For example, last year, 15,183 applications were received and state services were provided through the mentioned portal in the region for 11 types of state services. Similarly, since last year, the "Auyl Amanaty" program has been implemented through the Amanatnesie.kz portal. In 2024, 342 applications for more than 2.6 billion tenge were submitted to this portal.
