Today, February 11, the opening of the "City of Working Professions" festival took place. The event is being held at the "EXPO" exhibition center as part of the Year of Working Professions 2025, declared by the President.
This is an educational festival for children and teenagers. Guests of the event can get acquainted with thematic streets of professions and participate in various sessions and master classes.
The Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented 13 thematic houses at the festival. These are houses of geologists, mining industry, benefactors, ferrous metallurgists, mine builders, non-ferrous metallurgists, precious metals on the street of Mining and Metallurgy. Houses of automobile manufacturers and turners on the street of Machine Builders. As well as houses of masons, tilers and decorators, roofers and carpenters, landscape designers, and plumbers on the street of Builders. Interactive boards and simulators, practical areas, computer simulators, equipment and work processes will be displayed on the territory of the houses.
During the event, an innovation session on the metallurgy and oil and gas industries, a presentation session of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund were held, career guidance videos from colleges and introductory videos from enterprises were shown.
A conference on the topic "Future transport: what specialists will be in demand in 5-10 years" will also be held. The conference will be moderated by the President of the Kazakhstan Automobile Union, Anar Makasheva, and the speakers will include Aigul Akhmetova, Head of R&D Projects at the Kazakhstan Automobile Company Allur, Deputy Chairman of the Automobile and Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Kachakov, Founder of ALT University Gulzana Serikova, General Director of the Kazakhstan Association of Freight Railway Carriers, Ramiya Sarayeva, and Head of the Corporate University of QazTehna LLP, Aidos Aitbayev.
