Scientists of the D.A. Kunayev Institute of Mining Affairs branch of the State Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan "National Center for Complex Processing of Mineral Raw Materials" in Moscow participated in a major international event in the field of mining - the "Miners' Week-2025" symposium.
The event has been held for more than 30 years and is an important platform for discussing current issues and innovations in the mining complex. It attracts leading specialists and scientists, brings together experts to exchange knowledge and promote new technologies.
Kazakhstani scientists shared their developments for the domestic mining industry. Among them is the technology for developing difficult-to-extract deposits. The use of this technology ensures a reduction in the loss of minerals in the massif. Scientists have shown this on the example of the Zhezkazgan deposit.
A methodology for technical and technological audit in quarries is presented. With the help of this methodology, specialists can find the most effective way to conduct mining operations, while receiving an economic result of more than 1 billion tenge per year.
A new methodology for making management decisions to optimize all stages of the operation of geotechnological complexes of quarries is proposed.
An innovative automated system for controlling ventilation of underground mines has aroused genuine interest. Such systems are necessary to ensure satisfactory working conditions and significantly increase the safety of workers. Scientists are confident that their own production and software using artificial intelligence will allow achieving economic feasibility and creating favorable working conditions.
