Governor of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov got acquainted with the work and projects at the factories under construction in the Special Economic Zone in the regional center. He analyzed the work being done and exchanged views with investors on future plans.
- The regional akimat will resolve issues related to land, infrastructure, and documentation. You must implement and launch each project on time. Attention is paid to employment of local residents. Our goal is to develop production, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
The head of the region supervised the construction of a heavy equipment manufacturing plant for the mining and metallurgical complex of PSI Mineral Technologies LLP in Turkestan. According to the plant director, the capacity of the project is 956 tons per year, the cost of the project is 8,323.4 million tenge. The manufactured equipment will be sold to our country and abroad. Construction work is progressing according to schedule, the first stage will be launched this year.
Nuralkhan Kusherov saw the operation of the PVC pipe manufacturing plant of Altyn Dala Makta LLP with an integrated warehouse in Turkestan. This plant is capable of producing 1.44 million meters of pipes per year. 60 people are employed.
Then the regional akim was presented with the construction of a cotton factory and workshops of Turkestan Makta Agroindustrial Complex LLP. Work is underway. The cost of the project is 146.8 billion tenge. It is planned that 11 workshops will operate at the full-cycle textile factory. Cotton spinning, fabric production, dyeing, and processing will be carried out there. The production capacity will be 13 thousand tons of yarn per year, 50 million meters of home textiles, and 7 million sets of bed linen. More than 2,000 jobs will be created.
