Pensioners of the Active Longevity Center in Astana gave a festive concert to workers and gave them a good mood, the official website of the capital's akimat reported.

“This year was declared the Year of Working Professions by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Thus, much attention is paid to citizens working in such industries as construction, agriculture, industry, etc. In this regard, we are also launching the “Respect for the Worker” campaign,” said Lyazzat Utegulova, a silver volunteer of the Nura district branch of the Center for Active Longevity of Astana.

Astana pensioners sang and danced on the dombra to the builders, giving them a good mood. They also presented gifts and sweets to the workers.

According to the organizers, such an initiative helps to understand the importance of workers' labor.

“Mostly patriotic songs were sung here. Also, volunteers from the “Zhastar Ruhy” youth wing of the Nura district branch of the “AMANAT” party also participated in today's campaign. "The goal here is to set an example for the younger generation," said L. Utegulova.

It should be noted that such events, which are important in supporting working people, will continue in the future.
