A physical education and health complex was put into operation for the benefit of residents in the Besagash village of the Zhambyl district.
The opening of the social facility was attended by the chairman of the regional maslikhat Abdaly Nuraliev, deputies of the regional and district maslikhats, sports veterans and youth, as well as villagers.
The construction of the new sports complex was carried out within the framework of the "Village - Cradle of the Nation" program. The project cost is 446 million. 774 thousand tenge.
The building is 2-story. Here, village children and teenagers can engage in sports such as wrestling, boxing, football, basketball, volleyball.
According to the district akimat, this year a similar sports complex is expected to be built in the Tastobe village of the Zhambyl district.
It should be noted that in 2024, 115 sports facilities were put into operation in the Zhambyl region. Among them, there are 9 physical education and health complexes, 3 sports complexes (built at the expense of sponsors) and 103 sports grounds.
As a result, the level of provision of the population of the region with sports infrastructure has reached 68.3 percent.
Today, 503 thousand people or 41.2 percent of the population of the region are systematically involved in sports.
