The festival was a good platform for strengthening ties between future specialists, employers and technical and vocational education organizations. The project aims to increase the prestige of working professions, promote professions in demand in the economy, develop vocational guidance work among young people, and expand the participation of employers in the training and support of working professions.
As part of the event, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Agency for the Promotion of Vocational Education and Training (NAGBBO) and S. Together with Seifullin KazAzU, a panel discussion was organized on the topic "Human Resources for the Agricultural Industry: The Role of the State, Business and Education".
The participants were informed about the main trends in the development of agriculture, the role of modern technologies and future specialists in achieving the set goals.
The need to accelerate the industrialization of agricultural production by adopting a set of measures to increase the technical equipment of the agricultural industry, preserve scientifically based agricultural technologies, strengthen scientific support and introduce innovative developments, and form a personnel supply system in accordance with the needs of the specific sector was noted.
It should be noted that today more than 300 thousand manufacturers work in the agro-industrial complex, which employ 1.1 million people, including 595 thousand workers.
The "City of Working Professions" festival is scheduled for 5 days.
