In order to reduce the load on the only southern access road to the city, a 16.3-km extension of Kunayev Avenue is being built. This is one of the major projects being implemented in the development of the city's road infrastructure.

Today, construction work has been completed on part of Kunayev Avenue, which is considered the artery of the city, up to the Southern Bypass, and street lights have been fully commissioned. According to the project, the 6th stage is 2 km long and has 6 traffic lanes.
