By the resolution of the Shymkent city akimat, 14 categories of citizens were granted the right to free travel on public transport. For this, these passengers must carry transport cards. In this regard, transport cards are being sold in the akimats of Abay and Turan districts and in the Avtobys system office. The cost of the card is 550 tenge. Residents of the city, who travel for free, can easily get new cards of the "Avtobys" system in 5-10 minutes.

In addition, the system operator offers the opportunity to connect to a free virtual tariff for all discount categories without purchasing a social card.

Persons with limited social status in groups I and II are issued transport cards free of charge.

Documents required to obtain a transport card:

- Original identity card.
- Copy of a document confirming receipt of benefits with a stamp of the local executive body of Shymkent (the original is presented for identification purposes).
- 1 3x4 photo.
- The applicant must consent to the collection and processing of personal data.
