The first issue of the historical comic book "The Journey of Alikhan and Aikerim" was presented at the "Bozok" State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.
The event was attended by creative intelligentsia, representatives of the scientific community and teachers of secondary schools of the capital.
In accordance with the Concept of the Cultural Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, work is underway to create children's comics with a national character on the themes of Kazakh heroes, historical events, mythology and current trends to attract children and adolescents to reading and promoting the literature of our country.
Based on international experience, the "Bozok" Museum-Reserve has published a book for young readers. The comic text was published in Kazakh, Russian and English.
The artist who illustrated the comics is Beken Baizakuli Zhaparov, designer of the "Bozok" museum-reserve.
The main plot idea of ​​the book is based on historical data from archaeological excavations of the medieval town of Bozok.
During the event, the participants discussed the importance of children's literature in forming the historical consciousness of the younger generation, the prospects for promoting historical and cultural heritage and developing projects in children's education.
