The Ministry of Internal Affairs awarded the law enforcement officers who competed in the UAE SWAT Challenge tournament held in Dubai and showed the best results.
Minister Yerzhan Sadenov congratulated the soldiers who have brought honor to the country on the world stage with these achievements.
- Our special forces demonstrated high skill, perseverance, team spirit and desire for victory in this competition.
You, who uphold law and order, are true heroes, - said the Minister of Internal Affairs.
It should be noted that 12 teams from Kazakhstan participated in the grand tournament held from February 1 to 5, six of which were from the police department. They defended the honor of the "Sunkar", "Arlan", Rapid Action Special Forces and "Berkut" units.
The "Sunkar" special forces unit became the silver medalist of the tournament. One of the teams of the National Guard under the Ministry was among the top ten.
In addition, this year there is another joyful news for our country - the participation of the "Tomiris" women's team in an international competition for the first time. The delicate creatures, no less than the men, won a place in the hearts of the audience thanks to their agility and professionalism.
The event dedicated to the honor of employees who are close to sports, loyal to their work, and who advocate a healthy life, was followed by a festive concert.
