A special social services center will be built in Abai region at the expense of returned assets

On the instructions of the Head of State, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to work on the implementation of socially significant projects at the expense of illegally acquired assets returned to the country.

The Government has allocated 2.6 billion tenge for the construction of a 100-bed medical and social institution in the city of Semey, which will allow to increase the provision of citizens with quality medical care.

Today, the Government has allocated approximately 59.4 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of 13 socially significant facilities. Among them are schools in the villages of Zhamansor in Atyrau region, Rudnichny and Koksai in Zhetysu region, Mynadyr and Karazhal in Ulytau region, a music school in the village of Temirlan in Turkestan region, sports complexes in the villages of Zerendy and Zhalagash in Akmola and Almaty regions, a multi-specialty hospital complex in Ridder, a hostel in Shymkent, and 2 kindergartens in Aktobe and Petropavlovsk.

In addition, a sports complex for gifted children-athletes is being built in Arkalyk city at the expense of the funds of the subjects provided for in the Law "On the Return of Illegally Acquired Assets to the State", a rehabilitation center for children with musculoskeletal disorders in Astana, and a training center for people with special needs in Almaty.
