Constant monitoring of the water level in reservoirs is carried out, and facilities are being cleared of snow. In the spring, if necessary, earthworks will be carried out to strengthen protective dams. A stock of inert materials for flood control measures has been prepared.

In February, an inspection will be conducted in conjunction with the Emergency Situations Department and local executive bodies to determine the readiness of the branch's water management facilities for flooding.
