Homeowners in Astana will be able to repair fire systems as part of the state program for major repairs of condominium facilities. The program provides for interest-free financing with a repayment period of 7 to 15 years, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
According to Gulvira Abetova, Deputy Director of Orken Kala LLP, in order to participate in the state program for major repairs, it is necessary to submit an application to the operator of this program - Orken Kala LLP. Residents must prepare a certificate of the state of the fire system in advance, approve the project for carrying out the work, the cost and cost estimate, service providers and responsible persons upon acceptance of the work.
"The issue of participation in the state program must be approved at the general meeting of residents. After all, the money allocated by the state is refundable. In this case, the meeting has the right to make a decision when more than half of the total number of owners of apartments and non-residential premises are present. The decision is made with the consent of the majority of the total number of meeting participants. According to the rules, budget funds can be allocated for a period of 7 to 15 years. The amount of expenses for major repairs of the common property of a condominium facility, which is assigned to each apartment or non-residential premises, is calculated in accordance with the owner's share in the common property of the condominium facility," says G. Abetova.
She also noted that Orken Kala LLP provides advisory and legal assistance to homeowners in applying for participation in the state program.
In turn, Adil Bratayev, Head of the State Fire Control Department of the Astana City Emergency Situations Department, said that fire inspections and preventive discussions with management organizations were conducted in all apartment buildings in the capital, together with local executive bodies. As a result, it was determined that the fire protection system in some of the above-mentioned facilities is partially or completely non-functional.
