On the last day of the Biathlon competition at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, the men's team won a silver medal, and the women's team won a bronze medal.
In the men's 4x7.5 km relay, the team consisting of servicemen of the Armed Forces Kirill Bauer, Asset Duysenov, Alexander Mukin and serviceman of the sports company Vladislav Kireev finished in the top three and were awarded a silver medal. The first place in the relay was taken by the Japanese, and the third place by Chinese athletes.
In the 4x6 km relay, the women's biathlon team, consisting of army athletes Daria Klimina and Arina Kryukova, as well as Olga Poltoranina and Elizaveta Beletskaya, lost to their Chinese and South Korean rivals and won bronze.
Thus, at the Asian Continental Games, athletes from the Army Central Sports Club of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan won gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
