WAYS TO IMPROVE MEDICAL CARE WERE DISCUSSED TODAY AT THE VETERANS HOSPITAL AND THE CITY POLYCLINIC

Today, the Minister of Health visited the Central Hospital of Veterans of the Patriotic War in Astana, where she got acquainted with the conditions of treatment and drug provision for patients, with the work of clinical units.
During the visit, she held meetings with medical staff, asked about the well-being of people with disabilities, veterans, and the elderly.
"We understand how important it is to provide decent medical care to our respected veterans, and this will always be a priority of the healthcare system. It is important not only to provide high—quality medical care, but also to take care of the rehabilitation and social adaptation of this category of citizens," the Minister noted.
Here they showed the process of patient identification, personification of the issuance of medicines, and also familiarized with the rehabilitation and recovery procedures carried out within the framework of hospitalization.
The second object of the visit was the city polyclinic No. 2, where the minister, together with the chairman of the Board of the National Research Hospital Gulnar Kulkaeva, got acquainted with the work of the nursing service, the maintenance of dispensary patients, the process of receiving patients and issuing referrals.
During the visit, the recent innovations introduced in the work of the polyclinic were discussed. In particular, it was about reducing the list of tests before hospitalization of patients, which has already freed up the time of narrow specialists to receive more patients.
The Minister also talked with patients, asked about the satisfaction of the medical services provided, and took note of their suggestions for improving the work of the polyclinic.
