In the rural district of Dosbol Datka, Shieli district, a modern sports and recreation complex was opened with the support of the public foundation "Kazakhstan Halkyna."
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Akim of the region Shakhmardan Baimanov, Chairman of the Board of the public foundation "Kazakhstan Halkyna" Lazzat Chingisbayeva, and Vice President of South Oil LLP Serik Myrzabekov. The Deputy Akim highlighted significant achievements in the region's sports sector and discussed the progress of the planned activities.
— The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev said in his Address to the people: " It is essential for our youth to develop into robust and healthy members of society. Consequently, widespread participation in sports plays a crucial role in preserving the nation's well-being." In this regard, with the support of the head of the region, modern sports complexes are being built in our region, which are being transferred to the disposal of sports fans. Recently, sports facilities were inaugurated in the rural areas of the Karmakshy district, specifically in the III International and Dur Ongar districts, with the involvement of the local akim. Today, the region's sports infrastructure has been replenished with another complex built with the support of the Kazakhstan Halkyna Foundation.
We are confident that our young athletes will train in this building and become champions glorifying our country and region. On behalf of the head of the region and the entire population of the region, we express our deep gratitude to the Kazakhstan Halkyna Public Foundation! - said Shakhmardan Askaryuly.
The Kazakhstan Halkyna Public Foundation is implementing many projects worth a total of KZT 4.8 billion. In addition, at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of the Fund Lazzat Chingisbayeva and Vice President of South Oil LLP Serik Myrzabekov noted the work done and congratulated residents on the opening of the new facility. It is worth noting that last year the level of provision of the region's population with sports infrastructure was 46.2%. In 2023, 9 sports complexes were opened, and in 2024, work was completed on 6 more facilities that will be put into operation.
