In accordance with the instructions of the President, the heads of central executive bodies should meet regularly with the population. Today, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev arrived in Turkestan region on a working visit and held a meeting with residents of the region.
A number of questions related to highways and passenger transport were answered at the meeting.
During the meeting, the first deputy akim of the region, Zulpikhar Zholdasov, spoke about the work done in the field of road construction in the region.
It should be noted that 202 objects, or 1068.4 km of roads and streets, are being repaired in the region this year. By the end of the year, it is planned to complete work on 135 sites, or 611.7 km. There are also 5 bus stations, 20 bus stations and 18 passenger service points in the region.
At the moment, the airport serves 3 international and 6 domestic flights.
At the end of the meeting, Marat Karimzhanovich held a personal reception of citizens and gave specific instructions to the heads of the ministry on sectoral issues.
