They want to involve young people more actively in the work of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the Karaganda region. At the same time, they plan to pay more attention to the education of the younger generation and the fight against social vices.
Next year, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan celebrates its 30th anniversary. The new tasks of the unique public institute were discussed at the meeting of Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev with members of the APK, heads of ethnic associations.
This year, the work of the Council of Elders was noted at the national level. Its chairman Bekzat Altynbekov spoke in more detail about what has already been done and proposed new initiatives. He considers it useful to involve representatives from the regions in the council. These should be the people who will become an example for young people.
Chairman of the Council of Mothers of the APK of Karaganda region Aizhan Kiyasova spoke about the role of family education.
– The Republican Council of Mothers supported the campaign "Start with yourself". At the regional level, we also intend to carry out this work so that our children from a young age have a correct understanding of law–abiding, law and order," said Aizhan Kiyasova.
According to Vilen Molotov-Luchansky, chairman of the scientific expert group of the APK of the region, direct dialogue with feedback is important in working with young people.
– We have moved away from meetings towards direct communication. We held a lot of meetings, including with schoolchildren. Research, expeditions, and conferences on social and political topics have also continued," he says.
Well-known businessman Shamil Osin heads the Zhomart Zhan center. He talked about charity work. APK members provided great assistance to the flood victims. They also do not stay away from the implementation of socially significant projects.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev said that 68 schools have been selected in the region for modernization, which will be brought to the level of comfortable educational institutions. Major repairs are planned. A complete update is expected within three years. The governor of the region called on entrepreneurs to join this work.
Next year, the region intends to hold a republican Forum of patrons. At the meeting, many other proposals were voiced in the field of education, culture, patriotic and moral education of young people, and popularization of the state language.
The House of Friendship offered to open a theater studio. And the collectives of ethnic associations can go on tour throughout the region so that they can see the diversity and beauty of folk art firsthand in all corners.
– We will take all proposals into account. The 30th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan is ahead – a significant date. We must prepare very seriously for this event. The events dedicated to this date should be of practical importance," stressed Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. – Everything you have just said is a confirmation of the words of the Head of State at the XXXIII session of the APK: "The Assembly has once again proved in practice that it is an effective conductor of values and solidarity of our nation." It is necessary to involve young people more actively in all projects. This should become one of the main components of the work of the APK.
