The environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" continues in Zhambyl region,
launched in the spring with the participation of more than 800 thousand residents of the region.
Autumn clean-up days are held in the districts and the regional center.
Residents of house No. 12 of the Samal microdistrict in the city of Taraz cleaned their yard under the motto "Clean yard". The participants of the environmental action collected the garbage and took it to a special place.
- The action, carried out on the initiative of the Head of State, is systematically carried out in the region. The townspeople are actively involved. I think if such events are held on a regular basis, cleaning will become a habit among the townspeople. I urge everyone to contribute to the prosperity of their hometown," says eco-volunteer Aiganym Arkabek.
Currently, as part of the campaign, the territories of 60 historical and cultural monuments, 143 parks and squares, 829 km of canals and irrigation ditches, 133.2 thousand yards and 4.8 thousand km of street roads have been cleared. 30,085 tons of garbage were removed. About 60 thousand seedlings were planted.
1,056 pieces of equipment are involved.
