A solemn event dedicated to two significant dates for the oil industry of Kazakhstan: the 125th anniversary of the production of the first Kazakh oil and the 45th anniversary of the discovery of the Karachaganak field was held in the West Kazakhstan region. The event was attended by industry veterans, employees of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., representatives of government agencies.

Vice-Minister of Energy Alibek Zhamauov spoke on behalf of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He stressed the strategic importance of the oil and gas industry for the country's economy, noted the high professionalism and significant contribution of KPO employees to the company's development. The best employees were awarded state and departmental awards.

The veterans of the Karachaganak field and the production leaders received special words of gratitude. The Vice Minister expressed gratitude to them for their selfless work and invaluable contribution to the development of the oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan and the socio-economic development of the country.

A number of veterans were awarded certificates of honor by the company's management and the akim of the West Kazakhstan Region.

The solemn event became a bright event that brought together representatives of different generations of oil workers. It once again emphasized the importance of generational continuity and the importance of the oil and gas industry for Kazakhstan.
