The International Song Festival of Shamshi Kaldayakov "Menin Kazakstanym" was held in Astana, dedicated to the popularization of the great composer's work.
The festival, organized by the State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakconcert" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has become a significant cultural event.
Outstanding domestic and foreign performers, soloists of theaters of Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, including Honored Artists of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, shone on the stage of the festival.
The program featured works by Shamshi Kaldayakov, which have become a symbol of Kazakh musical culture.
