Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy visited construction sites in the regional center and got acquainted with the planned projects. First of all, he inspected the construction of the City House of Culture, which is scheduled to be commissioned in 2025. The head of the region stressed the importance of the quality of the work performed.
– Eliminate all identified shortcomings and comments. After receiving an order, you need to perform it efficiently. The interior and facade of the House of Culture must comply with the approved plan. It is also recommended to purchase furniture from local manufacturers, supporting domestic production," Darkhan Satybaldy noted, giving a number of recommendations and instructions.
To date, the construction of the House of Culture has been completed by 75%. The facility, which is being built by order of the construction department of the city of Turkestan, will create conditions for the development of culture. The building has an auditorium with 500 seats, a lobby-foyer, rooms for artists, office space, a dining room, rooms for directors, artists, a fitting room, offices of the administration of the institution and a hall for the training of artists.
Then the governor of the region was presented with the progress of the construction of the Selmag reservoir. The work started in 2023 will be completed this year. This strategic facility is equipped with modern equipment and installations for water purification and its supply to the population. In case of accidents, the reservoir will ensure an uninterrupted supply of water to the old part of the city, as well as maintain water pressure in the summer. The facility will solve the problem of drinking water for more than 25 thousand residents.
Darkhan Satybaldy also visited Alkozha-ata Street, where he got acquainted with the projects of future social facilities. Akim of the city Azimbek Pazylbekuly reported on the current and planned works. Residential buildings, business facilities and social institutions are planned to be built on this territory.
The head of the region noted the need for a thorough assessment of all projects and the construction of only those facilities that will be in demand by the population and decorate the architectural appearance of the city. According to the results of the inspection, the responsible persons were given appropriate instructions.
