Karaganda resident Asylkhan Kozhanasip took gold at the togyzkumalak World Championship in Turkey, and Ansagan Kozhanasip and Zhaksylyk Rahimzhan became bronze medalists.
About 100 athletes from 14 countries participated in the intellectual game – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Romania, Turkey, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Georgia, Hungary and the USA.
Competitions were held in such types of togyzkumalak as classics, rapid and blitz.
Asylkhan Hasip became the first in the classics,
Ansagan Hasip took the third place in the blitz.
Zhaksylyk Rahimzhan took bronze in the Turkish intellectual game of mangal.
