A festive event dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the city of Zhetysai was held in the center of Zhetysai district. The event was attended by akim of the district Serik Mamytov, who awarded the best peasants of the region. An exhibition and fair of agricultural producers and entrepreneurs of the district was held on Zhenis Square. National dishes were also prepared on the square and served to the residents of the district. A 55-meter barbecue and a 55-centimeter samsa were prepared for the 55th anniversary of the city, which were distributed to residents and guests of the city.
The book fair "JETISAI KITAPFest-2024" was held in the district. 10 publications from Almaty were presented at the fair, such as "QAZYNA", "Otbasy chrestomatiyasy", "Olja Peak",
"MARFU book", "MAZMUNDAMA", "Qasym kitaphanasy", "KitapAl", "Stepe&world", "Ziyat", "KAZAKH CONTENT" have put on public display more than 150 works. In order to popularize national sports and increase the interest of young people in mass sports, competitions were held in such sports as tug of war, arm wrestling, lifting weights, archery, squatting with a ram.
And the Central Park hosted the open championship of the district in mini-football among juniors and the "Giants Competition". For the first time, the winner of the V World Nomad Games Azamat Makulbekov took part in the district as guests.
