Rural settlements of the Karaganda region continue to provide high-quality drinking water. To date, 93.6% of villages have central water supply. It is planned to provide tap water to all villagers next year.
– 38 projects are being implemented this year. By the end of the year, we will put into operation 14 facilities in the construction direction and 26 complex block modules. This will achieve 95.8%. The completion of the project to provide all rural settlements with drinking water is planned for next year," Deputy Head of the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services Arman Sattybayev said at a staff meeting in the akimat of the region.
Provision of 100% of the population with drinking water until the end of next year remains under special control, Governor of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev noted.
– There is a lot of work ahead on the construction and reconstruction of water supply networks, which directly affects the quality of life of citizens, especially in rural areas. The goal is clear, the tasks are defined, and the issue of financing is being resolved. This is a priority task that should be taken into account when forming the budget. It is important to organize the work correctly and remember our responsibility," stressed Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
