Since the beginning of 2024, payments of the state allowance for large families have covered an average of 575.8 thousand families for a total of 389.8 billion tenge, including 570 thousand families for a total of 41 billion tenge received this type of benefit in October.
Families with 4 or more minor children living together or full-time students under the age of 23 can apply for this state benefit, regardless of their income.
The amounts of payments are differentiated depending on the number of children and in 2024 they amount to:
- with 4 children – 16.03 MCI or 59,183 tenge;
- with 5 children – 20.04 MCI or 73,988 tenge;
- with 6 children – 24.05 MCI or 88,793 tenge;
- with 7 children – 28.06 MCI or 103,598 tenge;
- with 8 or more children – 4 MCI or 14,768 tenge per child.
It should be noted that from January 1, 2024, all state social benefits for families with children have been increased by 7%.
This year, 474 billion tenge is provided for the payment of state benefits to large families.
