From November 24 to 30, 2024, Almaty will host the XVII International Eurasia Film Festival, which this year will bring together more than 15 countries.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Kazakhfilm Studio named after Shaken Aimanov.
This year's competition program includes 12 films representing three continents. This diversity makes the competition one of the most multifaceted sections of the festival.
The films presented in the competition reflect a rich palette of cultures and views, ranging from Bangladesh and South Korea, to Austria and Qatar. Creators from Europe, Asia and the Middle East will bring works to tell stories that combine universal themes and local contexts.
In 2024, Eurasia is not only a film festival, but also a unique journey into the world of cinema, which will leave an unforgettable impression and open new horizons for viewers and participants.
It should be noted that the sponsors were: the International construction company Bazis-A, the copper mining company KAZ Minerals, Sarens Kazakhstan, Salem Entertainment, the Kinopark Theaters cinema chain, Astana Motors.
