Daily monitoring of nutrition quality has been introduced in Kazakhstani educational institutions

This was stated in his report by Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev at a Meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press service of the department reports.
According to Gani Beisembayev, the relevant regulatory legal requirements have been strengthened and approved this year. In particular, nutrition standards in educational institutions have been revised in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization.
"In order to improve the quality of nutrition in preschool and secondary educational institutions, daily monitoring of the quality of nutrition has been introduced. The requirements for the qualification of chefs, their education and work experience have been strengthened. A requirement has been introduced for the availability of a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion of the supplier before the start of activity. Also, educational institutions have introduced a requirement to install video surveillance at food stalls," the minister said.
He also noted that work is currently underway to ensure transparency of the process and automate the accounting of children receiving free meals within the framework of the Social Wallet project.
Together with the Ministry of Health, a new nutrition standard has been developed in educational institutions, the implementation of which is planned for 2025. Earlier, the heads of the two departments came to such an agreement at a joint detour of educational organizations to ensure the quality of nutrition.
