The grand opening of the new barracks of the Academy of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Petropavlovsk. Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Ansagan Baltabekov made congratulatory speeches at the opening ceremony of the new barracks.
The event was attended by Deputy Commanders-in-Chief of the National Guard Baurzhan Abzhanov and Yerkebulan Khamidullin, as well as the commander of the Ortalyk regional command Sakentai Shekarbekov and representatives of the cooperating bodies.
According to tradition, the red ribbon of the barracks was cut by the head of the region and the commander-in-chief of the National Guard.
— The new type of barracks is cozy, modern, thought out to the smallest detail. You know, this place is not just walls and a roof. This is not just a building, but your new home for the duration of your studies. All this is done with care, with a soul. I wish you success in your studies so that you become real professionals in your field. Our country is counting on you," said Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov.
— We have witnessed the opening of a new barracks for future officers, which are the basis of the security and stability of our country. All conditions for training and service are created here. I am sure that the cadets of the academy will be able to take advantage of these opportunities and, combining knowledge with discipline, will faithfully serve the Motherland," Baltabekov said.
After that, the guests of honor, headed by the akim of the region and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, inspected the residential barracks and academic buildings of the academy, which has trained more than 4 thousand officers over 27 years of its history. They visited the offices of command and control, visited the departments of the educational institution, the magistracy and the Faculty of Additional Education, where they learned about the tasks of deepening knowledge, obtaining new professional skills and developing the business qualities of military specialists.
The delegation was accompanied by the head of the Academy of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Artur Tokushev.
I would like to say that the barracks have bedrooms, gyms, living rooms, rest rooms, locker rooms, modern showers, bathrooms, storage rooms for weapons and ammunition and classrooms. All rooms are built in the same style and equipped with all modern technical equipment.
The guests also visited the Academy's museum, where expositions reflecting its history and daily life were presented. Then they got acquainted with the progress of construction of other facilities of the academy.
And in the club of the military educational institution, Ansagan Baltabekov held a meeting with the command, the teaching staff and the staff of the academy.
At the end of the event, the Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of the Academy for the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressed gratitude to the personnel for their contribution to the education of future defenders of the country and their dedicated work on the educational front.
