Under the close supervision of the akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, the reconstruction of 6 boiler houses in the Heat and Power Center No. 5 of the State Enterprise "Kentau-Service" is underway.
Today, a press tour to the Heat and Power Center No. 5 in Kentau was organized for media representatives. The first deputy akim of the Turkestan region, Zulpikhar Zholdasov, told reporters about the current state of the heat and power center.
- This thermal power plant has not been repaired since 1956. The wear rate exceeds 85%. In previous years, there were difficulties with heating residential buildings and facilities. This year, the government supported and allocated funds for the construction of boiler houses. Since then, we have started major repairs. Work is underway to replace 6 boiler rooms in the center. 4 newly installed boilers have now been launched. 2 boilers are in reserve. 4 boiler houses are enough for heating the city. Currently, we give off heat in excess. In addition, we plan to produce 10 MW of energy here. Today, 5.5 MW is produced. There are no problems with the supply of heat to residential buildings and facilities. The situation is under constant control," Zulpikhar Zholdasov said.
This year, in accordance with the project, work is underway at the Kentau Thermal Power Center to reconstruct 6 boiler houses. Currently, work on 4 boiler houses has been completed and put into operation. The remaining 2 boiler houses are planned to be completed by the end of the year. In addition, the ongoing repair work on 2 boiler houses has been completed and put into operation. The ongoing repair work of the TG - 6 turbogenerator is also being completed, and work is underway to adjust the protection and activation systems. These works will be completed by the end of November.
During the press tour, media representatives inspected the residential buildings of the city and observed the level of heat transfer of apartments.
It is worth noting that in the city of Kentau, heat has been supplied since November 15. To date, the center employs 150 people in two shifts.
