The results of the XI republican art competition "Akberen" among schoolchildren of grades 8-11(12) have been summed up, the press service of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn" reports.
The students competed in various categories, including public speaking, a knowledge contest, essay writing, a competition of akyn improvisers, mastery of folk instruments and poetic skills.
"Akberen" unites the most creative and gifted children of our country every year. This competition is not just a competition, but a unique opportunity for young people to discover their talents, join national values and gain confidence in their abilities," said Gajdembek Tursunov, Director of the Daryn Center.
According to the results of all stages of the competition, 66 participants became prize-winners and were awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.
In the nomination "The best team", diplomas of the first degree were awarded to the West Kazakhstan and Mangystau regions, as well as to the boarding school named after Abai. The second place was taken by the Pavlodar region and the city of Astana, the third place was taken by the regions of Abai, Almaty and Zhambyl region.
It should be noted that all the necessary conditions are being created in the country to unlock the potential and support gifted children. For example, the winners of intellectual Olympiads receive educational grants, quotas for admission to specialized schools for gifted children, and one-time cash prizes are provided for the winners of international intellectual Olympiads.
