Republican staff exercises "KYS-2024" were held today with the participation of the regional akim, Nurlybek Nalibayev.
The Republican headquarters for the exercise is located in Kokshetau.
The exercises are held on November 21 and 22of this year to increase the readiness and ability of the state's civil protection system and population to respond to emergencies during winter, as well as to check the readiness of civil protection services and organizations to respond emergency situations.
Command and staff exercises are being conducted, along with practical actions by emergency services and civil defense organizations. 49 pieces of equipment and 119 personnel from civil protection and emergency services participate in the exercise. During the exercise, an alarm is sounded and a technical check of the warning system is conducted.
