The mayor of the city also focused on the work in the field of culture. This year, a multifunctional Congress Hall for 2066 seats was commissioned in Shymkent, where cultural events of the international level are held. At the expense of the local budget, new "houses of Culture" were opened in four microdistricts. In order to increase the interest of residents of the metropolis in culture and revive cultural life, "Shymkent evenings" events are organized in parks and houses of Culture.
